Description

Safety works towards keeping order and peace, as well as ensuring that medical assistance is available if needed. Safety will promote and demonstrate healthy communication and non-violent techniques. In conjunction with Outreach and Education (and Legal?), Safety should form a Law Enforcement outreach group that maintains communication with all law enforcement we are likely to encounter.

If medical attention is needed

Hey guys, this is Geoff (the EMT). I'm available for minor medical/trauma issues including cuts/scrapes, wound care, splinting, eye care, respiratory problems (non-emergent!!), flu-like symptoms, and the like. I do not have any medications to give out because I'm not certified to carry anything outside of my scope of practice.

I am NOT able to treat unconscious, apneic (not breathing), or pulse-less patients because I do not carry an AED with me. It should be obvious that, in cases such as these, 911 must be activated and without hesitation.

If you or someone at the Occupation needs some medical help, I'm available (mostly) Mon-Thu after 2PM, and Fri-Sun most hours depending on my work schedule (usually only 1 day per week). Call or text me at 760-704-7054 if I'm needed, and I'll do my best to get there ASAP. If either Robert or myself aren't available, or if the situation is urgent, again, CALL 911!
